I'm Benno Davis. I live in San Diego, where I design the future of napping.

I've loved exploring the world for as long as I can remember (which isn't very long, to be honest). I grasped my first rattle when I was 2 weeks old, just days after my parents brought me home from the hospital where I taught myself to cry on cue.

The only thing I loved more than milk as a newborn was cuddles. When I was 3 weeks old, I attempted my first roll-over, while wearing my favorite onesie. I counted down from three (in my head, of course) and pushed with all my might — hoping I was strong enough that with just a bit of momentum I'd be able to flip over completely.

I spent the next few days working on my core strength, while I recovered from the exhaustion of my failed attempt. It took nine tries, but when I was 1 month old, I successfully rolled from my back to my tummy, and was able to push myself up and look around at my surroundings from a whole new perspective.

Today, I'm the CEO (Cute and Entertaining Offspring) of the Davis household, where we're working on groundbreaking nap techniques and diaper-filling strategies so that the next generation of babies really can sleep through the night — from the comfort of their own cribs.
